Here are some things that I love: RuPaul’s Drag Race. Tea. Sewing. I’m not sure if you’ve picked up on any of this recently?
It made sense to combine some of these things. So (drumroll, please) here’s some RuPaul’s Drag Race fabric, which I have sewn into bags, whilst drinking tea! HURRAH! It’s a bit of a terrifying experiment, but I think I’m pleased with it?
I’ve used some of the illustrations I’ve done over the last year of my favourite queens to make a collage from the depths of gaudy hell. Its printed on 100% cotton by Woven Monkey in Derby, UK. I’m not going to license the design, so the fabric is exclusive to me.
Amongst others, you will find Bianca’s clown eyes, Adore’s pout, Latrice’s grin, and Alaska’s lips. It looks insane. I love it. Hopefully all you Drag Racers who need somewhere to shove your copious collection of cosmetics will too.
The bulk of the fabric will arrive by the end of April, at which point I will hand-make two sizes of bag (super big which will fit everything you own, or smaller for a cute travel version).
They’ll be properly lined, box cornered, and double-sewn for extra strength. Supply will be limited, so pre-order now to reserve yours, and I’ll pop it in the post at the start of May.
